ABOUT ME

I hold an LLB degree and i have successfully passed several advance courses in IP with the WIPO academy. I started working in the IP filed since 2006 with one of the leading firms in the middle east and north Africa. During this period i have focused on helping local business community exploiting IP rights and i received several recognition and thanking letters from Omani Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Public Authority for Consumer Protection, The Research Council, Sultan Qaboos University (Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department) and Higher Judaical Institute. Also i have worked very hard on IP enforcement and we have obtained favorable judicial precedents for rights holder against trade names infringing trademarks, unfair competition against trademarks that uses distinctive or even conceptual element in well known or prior registered trademarks and we had first criminal case based on IP infringement which lead to fine and imprisonment. Finally i'm proud to add that i'm one of only two IP experts recognized by the Ministry of Justice in Oman.
