ABOUT ME

I am a founding partner of the Watson Intellectual Property Group and have practiced intellectual property law for over twenty years. I practice in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition matters. I assist clients to secure intellectual property, and I assist clients with matters requiring counseling, portfolio management, due diligence and IP auditing, litigation, and transactional negotiation. I am admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (1996), and licensed to practice law in both Illinois (1994) and Michigan (2003). I am further admitted in the Federal Circuit, the Northern District of Illinois, the Western District of Michigan and the Eastern District of Michigan, and have appeared in many others. The firm hass been helping its clients protect and enforce their intellectual property rights for over a dozen years. From our start in West Michigan in 2004, our firm has expanded to Chicago and most recently, to Southern California. Our reach extends globally through our network of associates throughout the world, many of which have been partners, colleagues and trusted advisors to our team for over two decades.
