I'm Ruben J. Rodrigues

ABOUT ME

Ruben Rodrigues is a senior counsel and trial lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He has managed patent litigation matters for technology companies of all sizes on cases involving software, semiconductors, electronics, medical devices, oil and gas exploration, toys, construction technologies, and biochemical research tools. Mr. Rodrigues also represents clients in post-grant review proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and counsels clients on general IP strategy. Mr. Rodrigues earned his law degree, with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School. And holds a master’s degree concentrating in science & technology policy from Northeastern University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science, with a minor in mechanical engineering, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr. Rodrigues has been repeatedly named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers – Rising Stars® lists (2014 – 2017). Mr. Rodrigues is admitted to practice in Illinois and Massachusetts, before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Massachusetts, Northern District of Illinois and Eastern District of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
