Jezamine co- heads the Intellectual Property Department in the Hong Kong office. She is a seasoned litigator and has acted in a number of high profile cases pursued through the Hong Kong courts. She is ranked as a leading lawyer in the IP field by legal publications. Clients praise her responsiveness and her ability to simplify the issues whilst providing clear and practical advice. Jezamine acts for a number of multi-national companies which have established operations in Hong Kong. She has extensive experience in advising on brand protection and exploitation. In addition she also advises and represents clients in contentious matters. She regularly appears in the High Court representing clients in relation to the enforcement of their intellectual property rights. She has acted for brand owners in obtaining prohibitory injunctions against infringers in relation to trademark and copyright infringement as well as passing off. Further, she has been successful in helping clients with their investigations in identifying counterfeiting operations in Hong Kong and China as well as freezing the proceeds of such sales where monies have been remitted to Hong Kong bank accounts.
