ABOUT ME

Emanuele is an Italian and European trademark and design attorney with a broad and long-standing experience in a wide-range of intellectual property matters. He is also a cctld .it domain name panelist and a Technical Consultant of the Court of Milan in trademarks, designs and domain names. Emanuele's practice mainly covers areas of expertise such as trademark law (pre-filing search analysis; trademark filing; trademark prosecution; opposition proceedings and cancellation/invalidation actions; out of court negotiations, licensing and co-existence agreements), unfair competition law, design law, copyright law, domain names law and customs law. After having worked for more than 8 years in Dr. Modiano & Associati S.p.A., one of the leading Italian Patents and Trademarks Law Firm, Emanuele joined Bird & Bird in 2013 to advise and assist clients, both national and multinational, in safeguarding and strengthening their IP rights'​ portfolio worldwide and, in general, to help clients in contentious and non-contentious IP matters. Emanuele left Bird & Bird in August 2016, when he decided to join Studio Legale Cattaneo Biscuola and gave birth to Studio Legale Cattaneo Biscuola Cammareri, where he currently operates and where he leads the IP department. At the moment, Emanuele also cooperates with LMS Studio Legale as an external resources in relation to IP matters. Emanuele graduated in law at Università Cattolica of Milan in 2002 and was admitted to the Milan Bar of the Italian Attorneys-at-law in 2006. He is a member of the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA) since 2009 and of AIPPI and LES since 2016. In May 2016 he enrolled in the Italian bar of the industrial property consultants - trademark branch - under n. 1700M. Emanuele was listed by Who's Who Legal among the 22 leading Italian Trademark Attorneys. He usually writes articles on IP-related matters for the on-line juridical magazine named "Sistema Società"​ and published by Il Sole 24
