ABOUT ME

I am a registered Indian Patent and Trademark Attorney. Being a Patent professional with over 7 years of experience, I have specifically gained expertise in the domains of Biotech, Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical, and Software & IoT. I have advised a wide range of clients including MNC’s, Large Indian companies, Start-ups, Government Organizations and Academic Institutions on various IP Matters, which includes structuring and leveraging their IP portfolio. I have also been advising clients on the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) compliance. I have had the opportunity to work and interact with several leading law firms across the world on IP matters. In a nut shell my expertise spans across: • Drafting and Filing Patent Applications; • Prosecuting Patent Applications, preparing response to Office actions and attending Hearings before Controller of Patents; • Conducting Prior Art Searches and FTO; and • Conducting due-diligence and providing a Compliance Report in relation to use of certain FOSS components in client-developed solutions/products.
