ABOUT ME

Raed Al-Hout is the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) Intellectual Property Specialist for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) based at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait. Raed began his career in the Intellectual Property in 2009. Before joining The US Embassy in Kuwait, Raed worked with Saba & Co for Intellectual Property in their Amman and Dubai offices and then moved to Al Tamimi & Company (Law firm) in Doha - Qatar, where he gained an in-depth knowledge of IP laws and practices in many countries throughout the MENA region. His current responsibilities include advising, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on all aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) issues for Middle East and North Africa countries. He joined the US embassy in Kuwait in September 2016. He is a Jordanian national. He speaks fluent Arabic and English.
