ABOUT ME

Mr. Parmar is an Indian IP attorney and a graduate in electrical and electronics engineering from one of the top universities in India. He has about 15 years of experience in the field of IP management and advisory. He has drafted and prosecuted US, PCT, EPO, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Australian, and Indian patents in the areas of electrical, mechanical, and computer technologies. In particular, he has worked on electrical transmission systems, power electronics, electrical powertrains, electro-mechanical, telecommunication, imaging, healthcare, business process, and other software related technologies. Mr. Parmar has prior experience as a Lead IP Professional with the General Electric Global Research division where he developed portfolios for smart grid systems, wireless networks, medical devices, and hybrid electric vehicles, and as an IP Attorney at CPA Global where he managed a team of people involved in creating and managing in-house IP, IP laws research and advisory, IP docking and renewal software development, and client engagements. In 2009, Mr. Parmar received a prestigious scholarship from the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation and attended a training course in Tokyo for patent experts sponsored by the Japanese Patent Office and the US Intellectual Property Owners association.
