Lead the patent prosecution and analytics practice of the firm! With over a decade of experience in the patents industry, have had the opportunity of being actively involved in patent procuring, counselling and advising on various issues including essentiality assessment, trial preparations, competitive analysis, monetization, licensing, etc. Besides the regular matters like patent drafting, filing, prosecution, patent litigation, prior art searches, landscapes, due diligence, validity assessments in the domains including biotechnology, pharma, chemistry, mechanical, telecommunication and software, I have been routinely advising several firms on IP due-diligence, patent licensing, opportunities, managing portfolios, identifying strategic patents for commercial purposes, etc. Also actively involve with the clients in the area of strategizing clinical trials studies and market approvals for the Indian Pharmaceutical Companies and also in strategizing e- discovery matters for Hatch Waxman litigation. Have in the past routinely advised clients on policies and regulations governing Biosimilar Drugs, Food Supplements, Prodrugs, Homeopathic Drugs, Probiotics, etc., in India and on strategizing patent filings on inventions relating to traditional knowledge, diagnostic and treatment methods which are otherwise barred by the Indian Patent Law.
