ABOUT ME

Ms. Samita Kapoor has more than 15 years of extensive experience in R&D and Intellectual Property services. Within short period of time she succeeded to target a list of client globally by applying the strategies of providing quality services at the affordable cost. Ms. Kapoor is currently associated with Genuiin IP Solutions as Senior IP Attorney. Prior to Genuiin IP Solutions, she served as Senior Legal consultant and heading the Patent and Design team for 8 years of Abu Gazhaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) – one of the top most legal consultancy of middle east countries. She worked starting from idea generation, devising patent filing strategy, patent search, patent drafting, patent filing in various countries, Trademark registration, opposition, Design registration, copyright registration and managing IP portfolios. Further, she was the founding member to develop IP strategies and IP policies in house at India Office, AGIP. Ms. Kapoor also worked with well established and reputed R&D organization and institutes like IP cell of CSIR, IARI and PGI etc for almost 6 years. Ms. Kapoor was also invited by Japan Patent Office (JPO) and Korea Intellectual Patent Office (KIPO) to attend the advance training program for Senior Patent Attorneys twice in Japan and Korea. Ms. Kapoor is a guest lecturer at Global Institute of Intellectual Property (GIIP), India and actively participated in other IP Forum. Ms. Kapoor is also in a panel of IP Attorneys of Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Ms. Kapoor is a International Author and her first Article titled “Patent: A tool for investment and business decision making process for enterprises” published in IP Community (12th Edition), March 2009. Ms. Kapoor has successfully completed various advance courses in IP domain for her career growth: • Post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from IGNOU. • Industry diploma in Drug Design & patenting with A+grade (>75%) from Bioinformatics
