ABOUT ME

Rumbidzayi is an international award winning IP expert and scientist with specialized training in IP through the WIPO MIP programme, experience in Patent Search and Substantive Examination at ARIPO with specialized training in Japan, exposure in the Intellectual Property Department of a multi-billion dollar company in the Silicon Valley, experience with IP training, Patent drafting and Patent search, PCT system and related areas. Her interests outside of Industrial property rights, are in Commercialization, Licensing, Valuation, Technology Transfer and IP management. She has worked in the Private Consulting firms, the former Ministry of Science and Technology development, the Research Council of Zimbabwe and the University of Zimbabwe. She is a founder of the award winning Techwomen Zimbabwe which has brought Silicon Valley female experts to Zimbabwe with a large network of women in STEM on the African Continent. She has established networks in Japan, USA, ARIPO Member States and South Africa.
