ABOUT ME

Aaron Solomon is the Managing Partner of Solomon & Co. and has been in active practice for over 20 years. He is registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and specializes in transactional work including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, exchange control regulations, competition laws, banking, investment funds, private equity, capital markets and securities laws. He has a hands-on approach and his team has the ability to handle large and complex cross-border transactions. With over 2-decades of experience on cross-border transactions of all types and versatility across multiple practice areas, he specializes in guiding clients across a complex Indian business and legal environment. He has also provided strategic advice to several renowned film festivals, production houses and television channels on their business deals and agreements related to Intellectual Property and media and entertainment law as well as enforcement of IP rights across the country. Through his experience in handling an array of practice area, he has enabled clients to settle infringement matters through negotiation, arbitration and litigation related to intellectual property rights. He is also a member of the Association of Independent European Lawyers. He is the president of the Friends of the Tel Aviv University in India and is also an advisory member of the China-East Asia International Trade Disputes Settlement Advisory Committee.
