ABOUT ME

Germaine Pereira is an Associate Partner in the Intellectual Property Rights team at Solomon & Co. Germaine is registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and holds a Master’s Degree in Science with a specialization in Biotechnology. She has an experience of over 10 years and has worked as an intellectual property consultant at the Industrial Research and Consultancy Centre, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB). Her experience covers the establishment and operation of investment funds, real estate transactions, intellectual property services, employment laws, inheritance and succession laws. Germaine has advised several clients in protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights, IP portfolio management, IP litigation, IP contracts etc. within the country as well as across the globe. Her areas of expertise include patents, designs, copyrights, trademarks, plant variety protection and farmer’s rights.
