ABOUT ME

Jinisha Shah is an Associate in the Intellectual Property Rights Team of Solomon & Co. and has over 8 years’ experience as a registered Patent and Trademark Attorney. She holds a Master’s degree in Law with a specialisation in Intellectual Property as well as a Master’s degree in Science with a specialization in Microbiology. Her strong legal as well as scientific skills have been effective to protect intellectual property both legally and commercially and thus, enhance the client’s business strategies. She has substantial experience in patents, designs, copyrights and trademarks. Her experience in Patents covers identifying patentable invention, patent validity search, infringement analysis and white space analysis, filing, prosecuting and grant, filing applications for opposing or revoking infringed patents. Her expertise with regards to trademarks, copyright, design and plant variety protection and farmer’s rights includes registration and prosecution of the same. She has also assisted clients on commercial transactions involving patent license agreements, royalty agreements, technology transfer agreements etc.
