7+ years of experience in areas of Intellectual Property, IP portfolio management and IP Strategy. Have in depth knowledge of Intellectual Property in agriculture and life science domain and contract management for research functions. *Filed more than 70 applications of Protection of Plant Variety and Farmers Rights Authority (PPV&FRA). *4+ years experience of managing IP portfolio of the company (Patents/ Trademarks and PVP). *3+ years experience in Business Development Role for IP domain. *3+ years worked as core team member in the Business Excellence journey of Metahelix to empower the company to reach its goals, improve results, and have a competitive edge. Tata companies use the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM), which covers business aspects ranging from strategy and leadership, to safety and climate change. Adapted from the renowned Malcolm Baldrige model, TBEM encourages continuous improvements through a formal system of bench-marking and assessment. Aspire to pursue teaching and training activities in IP specifically in Agriculture domain and create awareness about the role of IP in agriculture which I feel is a niche area and there is a lot of potential yet to be explored.
