I'm Andreas Lubberger

ABOUT ME

Andreas studied law at the University of Frankfurt where he stayed for some years as assistant lecturer and where he was awarded with “summa cum laude” for his doctor’s thesis on the constitutional protection of property. After his admission to the bar in 1989 he headed the Frankfurt IP team of the Oppenhoff firm which later merged with Linklaters. In 2004, Andreas left Linklaters to found Lubberger Lehment in Berlin together with Cornelis Lehment as a boutique for Unfair Competition and Trademark Law. The initial goal to become one of the leading trade mark practises in Germany had been achieved after five years in 2009 when Lubberger Lehment had been awarded as IP firm of the year by Juve-Magazine. Andreas regularly contributes to the academic world; with speeches, articles, contribution to books and as a lecturer in the education of younger IP-Lawyers. He chairs the MARQUES team for Famous and Well known marks, he is a member of the Trademarks and Unfair Competition Team of the German GRUR-Association, and a member of the Famous and Well Known Marks Team of INTA.
