ABOUT ME

Ariela is the co-head of the Intellectual and Industrial Property Group, together with Rodrigo Albagli. Her practice focuses on matters involving unfair competition, antitrust, advertising law and intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, copyright, information technology, licensing, and litigation related to these matters and brand protection. Important publications and rankings such as Chambers & Partners, Best Lawyers, World Trademark Review, Managing Intellectual Property and IAM have recognized Ariela for her outstanding work in the area of intellectual property. This year she has been appointed as one of the 250 Top Women in IP by IP Stars of MIP. Attorney of Universidad de Chile and Master of Laws from St. Thomas University, Florida, USA, she is currently President for the Americas of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), Ethical Judge at the Chilean Bar Association and an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) where she serves as Vice Chair of the Emerging Issues Committee and is the former Chair of the Latin-American Sub Committee on Legislation and Regulation. She is also part of the Legislation and Regulation Committee of the American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
