ABOUT ME

Mr. Amitava Chakraborty is an IPR, Space Law and Health-IT Consultant with a versatile geographical exposure in India, US and EU. His primary areas of expertise include IPR Prosecution & opposition, IP asset negotiations and relationship building in IPR consulting processes for startups, university funded projects etc. Having gained experience from US Counsels and leading boutique IP law firm in India, Amitava offers a rare blend of IP Analytic, Prosecution, Business Development and Negotiation, Technology Valuation, advisory and e-discovery related services across a wide range of industries. Mr. Chakraborty had taken the lead in establishing public-private space interface through policy research, blog writing (http://www.tmtlaw.co.in/TMT_blog.html), conceptualizing events such as Round Table Space Conference commonly known as Bangalore Declaration with a joint initiative by TMT Law Practice and NLSIU Bangalore. On the other side of the coin, Mr. Chakraborty is an inventor cum applicant with two patent applications in India and that work was duly published in Germany, US and UK. He also worked as an Assistant Professor at School of Law, KIIT University, Odisha, India. He associated with NLUO, Cuttack as a visiting faculty for IPR drafting.
