ABOUT ME

Dr Chris Hemingway is a Director of the Malaysian office of the Marks & Clerk group and holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Warwick. In addition to being a Registered Malaysian Patent, Trade Mark and Industrial Design Agent, he is also a Chartered UK Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney, and a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney. Chris specialises in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and has experience with a broad range of technical subject matter, ranging from mechanical and software-based inventions, to medical devices and chemical innovations. Chris is also an Executive Committee member of MIPA, has represented Malaysia on the Patents Committee for the APAA, is listed as an expert for Malaysia on the South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesk, and is recognised as an IP Star by Managing Intellectual Property.
