Locating closest existing concepts to an invention disclosure and providing technical opinion to enable quality patent filing decisions. Providing technology overview of key technology areas of business interest. • Prosecuting India patent applications in technology area i.e., Medical Device • Provide strategic support to the global patent organization by delivering various types of IP searches. • Routinely delivers all types of milestone Fredom to Operate searches, opposition searches, invalidation searches meeting pre-determined quality metrics. • Understands and Applies substantive patent law in all types of searching and prior art review activities. • Supervises the work done by the junior members of the searching Team. • Acts as the technical advisor for the Device searchers. • Assists with Personal Improvement Program for staff members as and when required by the Manager - Prosecuting India patent applications in technology area i.e., Medical Device -Taking Disclosure meeting -Prior-Art -Novelty Searches -Invalidity Searches -Freedom Of Operation (FoO) -Infringement Searches -State-of-the-art searches -Non-patent literature (Technical journals & databases and textbooks etc). -Illustration of Complicated Mechanical Drawings -Search engines used are PatBase, Delphion, USPTO, EPO, WIPO, -Google patents and non-patentable literatures.
