ABOUT ME

With over 16 years of experience, I head Firm’s IP & Sports Law practices in southern India, focusing primarily on fulfilling the legal requirements of technology-based and sports-related businesses. I advise clients on planning, negotiating, structuring and documenting a variety of technology/sports-driven transactions and businesses. I advise clients on IP acquisition, exploitation, monitoring and enforcement of various IP rights in India. I have advised various international and domestic sports Federations, Associations and Sports Personalities in addressing various regulatory, legal and contractual issues in India. I also devote a substantial portion of my practice to media and entertainment related matters advising clients on various aspects of the development, production, acquisition and distribution of motion pictures, television and electronic media; music publishing; sponsorship deals and technology transactions. Through his active engagement with CII-YI, I am am a mentor to several start-ups, whom I advise on the legal aspects of setting-up, running and growing their business.
