I'm Darryl Ong

ABOUT ME

Darryl J. Ong is an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. Darryl has represented clients in patent litigation and analysis matters involving a broad range of technologies, including semiconductor lithography, wireless and wired networking, power-over-ethernet, streaming media, electronic mail systems, digital watermarking, and various internet technologies. Darryl holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University, and an M.S. and a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to his legal career, Darryl worked at a major semiconductor company negotiating inbound licenses for electronic design automation tools and semiconductor intellectual property. Darryl is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of California, the Eastern District of Texas, and the Eastern District of Michigan. Darryl is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
