AVM’s Intellectual Property Team has many years of experience on all aspects relating to Industrial / Intellectual Property, including patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and geographic indications of source, but also rights relating to copyright. We provide legal services in the registration, maintenance and protection of trademarks for a vast number of national and international companies. AVM advises clients on (i) protecting their IP rights (registration in multiple jurisdictions of patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, renewals), (ii) structuring strategies to commercialize their IP rights (licensing strategies, negotiating and drafting contracts, advising on joint ventures, advising on competition law, framework distribution and agency agreements and; (iii) enforcing IP rights (litigation, opposition proceedings in trade mark registries, trade mark infringements and anti-counterfeiting). We also have experience in advising clients on trade mark development; clearance trade mark searches to ensure the non-existence of trademarks which may cause conflict; advising on protection strategies and registration of trademarks; registering domain names; monitoring trademarks registers to avoid situations of unfair competition.
