ABOUT ME

I have a Ph.D degree in Organic Chemistry from University of Pune, India. I have also got a Bachelors degree in Laws (L.L.B) from University of Pune, India. I have an overall experience of over 15 years in the field of IP (primarily in innovative products). I have also handled formulations and process (including pesticides) patent portfolios. I am currently working at Advinus Therapeutics Ltd, an Indian company since February 2008 as Head of Intellectual Property and am responsible for: Literature Search and Analysis: Evaluation of Patent Proposals, Patent Drafting and Filing: Patent Prosecution and Maintenance: Freedom to Operate (FTO): Evaluating and providing FTO analysis for drug candidate. Budget: Planning and executing Intellectual Property (IP) budgets; monitoring IP projects. Patent Portfolio Management: CDA and Due Diligence: Preparing and executing CDAs; inputs in Licensing Agreements and preparing Due Diligence reports.
