ABOUT ME

Studied law at the Universities of Freiburg, Heidelberg and Münster and Louvain. His thesis deals with particular aspects of contract law. Carl-Richard Haarmann joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 1997. As a BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner his focus is not only on extensive national and international activities in all areas of trademark law but also on looking after leading trademark portfolios for multinational groups and for German medium-sized companies. An important aspect of Carl-Richard Haarmann's work is his specialisation in infringement proceedings in trademark and patent matters. In addition, he is extensively engaged in licensing law. Carl-Richard Haarmann is a member of GRUR, AIPPI, INTA, PTMG, LES Deutsche Landesgruppe and LESI, of the Munich Bar. He is a guest professor at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Since 2013, he is also active for the Xiangtan University in Xiangtan, Province Hunan, PR China, as Visiting Professor. The National Law University Delhi (NLUD), India, appointed him visiting faculty at the beginning of 2014.
