ABOUT ME

I am global Patent Manager at one of the world’s leading hearing care companies, and before that I was responsible for IP at an engineering Company for medical sensors. Featuring more than 20 years experience in patents and patent-management, I am responsible for a multi-million budget. Inside IP-qualifications include e.g. patent strategy, freedom to operate, innovation, and Germen employee remuneration law. My outside experience covers Licensing, NPEs, litigation (using US patent law firms), settlements, Inter-Industry relations, Know-how transfer, and Due Diligence/M&A IP activities. I hold a university degree in meteorology, covering experimental and theoretical physics/meteorology, physical chemistry and botany. Other qualifications include environmental counselling, electronics, medical devices and mediation/facilitation skills. Regarding IP-law and other IP related issues I have successfully completed numerous courses and seminars. My interdisciplinary knowledge and experience along with my social skills enable me to successfully resolve complex matters and to find practical solutions, which I could often prove throughout my career.
