ABOUT ME

Desai has 41 years of IP creation, management and commercialization experience. He was heading up the IP Management group at Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL) from 1998-2002. During this period he promoted IP aswareness and managed invention disclosures, evaluations and IP protection for KRDL. WIPO identified KRDL to have filed the maximum number of PCT patents out of Singapore in 2001. Desai has trained many engineers on writing patents. He also evaluates the strength of a patent. Desai has conducted academic courses on IP and has taught several of his students the art of working around patents where possible.
