ABOUT ME

I am an attorney at law with SKW Schwarz in Munich. For almost ten years, I have been working in the area of IP/IT in various positions. Highlights of my career have been to help a Japanese game publisher protect the form of his devices as technical protection measures and advising a large IT company with different software development projects. I have experience with Unfair Competition Law, Trade Mark Law, domain disputes, trade secrets, licensing agreements, managing IP rights across different distribution channels, IP clearance, IP enforcement in different jurisdictions and M&A transactions. Besides IP matters, I am handling IT and Privacy matters. I have advised a large German eCommerce company regarding Privacy issues. Furthermore, I have advised a U.S. game publisher on the implementation of U.S. eDiscovery tools in Germany and a Spanish bank on Privacy topics before entering the German market. Moreover, I am working on the implementation of blockchain technology with regard to IP licensing agreements and smart contracts. I am publishing on various IP/IT topics and I am a speaker at different conferences. Last but not least, I am an active member of the German-American Lawyers' Association.
