ABOUT ME

Tarakranjan holds PhD in Polymer Chemistry and Membrane separation from IIT Kharagpur, India followed by Post doctoral research experience at ENSIC (CNRS) at Nancy France. During May’ 05 – Jan’ 08 He served in General Electric, Bangalore, India as Intellectual Property Analyst. Where his key are of expertise were Patentability, Technology landscaping and Freedom to Operate for plastic team. He is at Shell Technology Centre as Patent Landscape analysts since early 2008, were he was looking after Shell Biofuel portfolio as only global IP analyst. He was a part of decision making team to transfer Shell's stake/portfolio from 2nd generation biofuel to 1st generation which was a critical business redirection. In 2012 he moved to Shell water R & D to lead water treatment projects, however still looking after water R & D related IP and projecting Shell's IP footprint in this technical area.
