Bill Seiter concentrates on US and international trademark, copyright, and Internet matters, strategic advice in brand launches, development and management of trademark and copyright portfolios, organization of business entities, negotiation of acquisitions, licenses and joint ventures, drafting of business contracts, litigation, and mediation of intellectual property and commercial disputes. Admitted to practice in California and New York, Bill is a frequent speaker, moderator and author on intellectual property law topics. He is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), former chair of its Legislation & Regulation Committee, and member of the Geographical Indications Committees of the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) and of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property / Asociación Interamericana de la Propiedad Intelectual (ASIPI), as well as ECTA’s Publications Committee. Bill was honored with INTA's Award for the Advancement of Trademark Law for his role in promoting modernization and harmonization of trademark legislation in the Asia-Pacific region. He is the co-author, with his sister Professor Ellen Seiter of the USC School of Cinematic Arts of The Creative Artist's Legal Guide: Copyright, Trademark and Contracts in Film and Digital Media Production, published by Yale University Press.
