ABOUT ME

I have graduated from the University of California Berkeley, with a Master of Laws (LLM), specializing in Law and Technology. My research in my LLM has been focused on Intellectual Property Rights with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence. I delved into the various mathematical models of Artificial Intelligence and have argued that an artificially intelligent software must be protected under The Copyright Act of 1976. I am a diligent researcher and have an excellent hold on various legal research websites such as WestLaw, LexisNexis, and JSTOR etc. I have been trained in the areas of Computer Law, Cybercrime, Privacy Law etc as a part of my curriculum at UC Berkeley. Prior to this, I was an undergraduate student at the National Law University, Odisha, India where I had spent five years in rigorous legal training. I had interned with some of the biggest law firms in India throughout my undergraduate studies and have a strong hold on the functioning of major corporate law firms. This experience over a timeline of five years had exposed me to a variety of subject matters in the legal system, instilled in me the patience to scrutinize a major case considering all its multiple facets. The six years of legal training have made me proficient in analyzing and arguing on a case considering all the relevant statutes applicable in it as well as researching on all applicable precedents. I believe that I can significantly contribute to your organization where I could apply my skill-sets that I have developed over all these years of legal education and experience while learning even more as I do so. I am diligent, patient and committed towards the work I do and I believe that my knowledge and training would be useful to your organization.
