ABOUT ME

Tyron is a South African Patent attorney specialising in domestic and international patent matters, particularly in the fields of Biotechnology and Life Sciences, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. He also assists with litigation matters related to Life Sciences. He is a member of the Biotech department at Spoor & Fisher where he has worked since 2005. He became a partner of the firm in 2013. He has been a Fellow of the South African Institute for Intellectual Property Law since 2013. In 2014 he co-authored the Dean & Dyer Introduction to Intellectual Property Law textbook and he was the recipient of the “Intellectual Property – South Africa” Client Choice award in 2016.
