Jonathan S. S. Howell is an attorney with the Intellectual Property Practice Group and the Mechanical Patent Team in Womble Carlyle’s Atlanta office. Jonathan regularly assists clients with various phases of obtaining protection for their intellectual property. Jonathan has experience in performing patent searches, drafting utility and design patent applications, and drafting responses to Patent Office Actions, both in the United States and abroad. He has represented clients seeking patent protection in a broad scope of industries including product packaging, metal casting, nuclear plant safety and diagnostics, irrigation systems, personal mobility, firearms, roofing systems, polymeric materials, medical devices, unmanned aerial vehicles, sanitation systems, and other various industries, and he has helped clients seek protection for a variety of other mechanical devices.
