I'm Farah Namazie

ABOUT ME

Farah Namazie has been practicing Intellectual Property law for more than 25 years. Her practice focus is on international IPR protection, and has experience in the field of brands, trademarks, copyright, designs and patents. She handles commercial transactions involving Intellectual Property rights. Farah has published widely and lectured internationally on Intellectual Property law. She studied law at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, where she graduated from in 1987. She then obtained a Masters degree in Corporate and Commercial law from King’s College, University of London, before being called to the UK Bar. In addition to private practice, she worked for several years as in-house counsel for Apple Computers Inc. Namazie & Co. was established in 2001, as an Intellectual Property and Technology law firm. Farah leads an experienced and skilled team, and together they advise and represent many prestigious international and local clients on IPR legal protection. Namazie & Co. has been frequently listed as one of Singapore’s top ten Intellectual Property law practices by international journals. Farah is a registered patent agent in Singapore. She has published and lectured internationally in the field of Intellectual Property & Technology law, and is a member of the Asian Patent Attorney’s Association (APAA), International Trademark Association (INTA), European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA), the Singapore Academy of Law, The Law Society of Singapore and the Advanced Institute of Legal Studies in London.
